Datuk Suraj S. Gill read law at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, where he was awarded the prestigious “Best Graduate Award” by the University Senate for academic excellence in his graduating class. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1997.
He has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law practice, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity investments, the structuring and establishment of venture capital and private equity funds, as well as real property matters.
